Brown named Public Information Specialist at CSC

Brown, an alumna of CSC and a former Admissions Counselor, will assist the department of College Relations by publicizing news and events, managing social media channels, providing photographic coverage, and writing content for the website.

“College Relations, CSC employees and students, and the community will undoubtedly benefit from Sydney’s enthusiasm and dedication to creating meaningful content,” said Director of College Relations Alex Helmbrecht. “All of us in College Relations are excited to work alongside Sydney because her future is bright.”

Brown graduated magna cum laude from CSC in 2023 with a bachelor’s in accounting and a minor in art. She worked as an Admissions Counselor recruiting students for about a year prior to joining College Relations.

“I’m excited to continue my career at Chadron State College and within the College Relations’ department,” Brown said. “CSC, including its students, employees, and alumni, have so many great stories to tell and I am eager to share them.”
